From June 28th to July the 2nd, the New Irrigation Forum was held thanks to the Spanish water-specialized magazine iagua. In this year’s edition, carried out 100% online, the main topic was “The water that feeds us”, where agriculture was highlighted as the main food source of our planet.

At each session different key issues were discussed, such as the modernization of irrigation, the vision of public administrations and irrigators, efficient irrigation systems, energy in irrigation, etc.

As a bronze sponsor, ITC participated in the 4th day of the event, which was focused on revolution and digital transformation, with an intervention by Xavier Martínez, Area Manager en ITC and expert in fluid dosing and fertigation.

In his speech, he spoke about the customer’s experience regarding the use of new technologies in the field. “It is now necessary to provide the field with tools that facilitate daily work.” said Xavier while sharing data about the user experience of some of ITC’s customers and their degree of satisfaction with the different functionalities of Cloud Manager, ITC’s tool for remote management of the company’s equipment.



Jorge, farmer from Almeria, ITC customer and Cloud Manager user, appeared in a presentation video where he explained his experience using the tool, which he loves to such an extent that, even when  he is in the irrigation booth and in front of the controller and the pumps, he still prefers to use his smartphone to control the whole system.
