Dosing Systems for Naama in Oman

ITC  /   Water treatment  /   Dosing Systems for Naama in Oman

Brackground

Naama, the state entity responsible for water management and treatment in Oman, required a reliable and efficient solution for precise chemical dosing within its water treatment process.

To ensure system stability and service quality, the organisation partnered with MAS Trading (Egypt) as the technical and commercial intermediary for the project implementation.

ITC solution

Customised skids equipped with 7 Dostec 50 dosing pumps were supplied and installed, each designed to deliver high precision and reliability.

The installation also includes pulse dampeners and other hydraulic components to maintain a steady flow, reduce vibrations, and extend system lifetime.

The equipment was integrated into a modular skid structure, simplifying installation, maintenance, and daily operation. This configuration allows for rapid commissioning and easy adaptation to potential future expansions.

Results and Benefits

The installation provides Naama with a fully integrated and optimised dosing system offering:

  • High precision dosing, enabled by Dostec 50 technology.

  • Reduced maintenance and vibrations, thanks to pulse dampeners.

  • Improved process control and reliability, ensuring water treatment quality.

  • Ease of maintenance and operation due to the modular skid design.

Conclusions

This project reinforces ITC’s presence in the region and strengthens confidence in reliable, tailored dosing solutions.

It demonstrates the ability to provide solutions adapted to client needs, contributing to more efficient and sustainable water resource management.
